FIRST month, first results!

MOVeat aims to show you that it is possible to have a balanced lifestyle, full of exercise and a healthy and delicious food.

Through Naty’s story, and during 4 weeks we have been sharing with you recommendations to reach your goals, and if you applied them, you might be noticing the results because she has already checked that her effort and changes she made, show positive results, not only on her measures, also in her mood and perception a health.

In this first month, Naty’s weight went down 7,48 pounds, from 160,16 pounds to 152, 68 pounds which is quiet good, because lose between 4 and 8 pounds is the ideal amount of weight loss when you are following a diet plan and an appropriate and balanced exercise routine. Her BMI decreased to 22kg7m2 indicating that her weight continue being appropriate for her height. This is where the case gets interesting because the ideal for Naty is that she continues loosing body fat and gaining muscle mass, without lose that much weight the next month.

Naty’s body fat percentage also fell down from 36% to 34% (according to the scale used) which is fine but there is still an excess fat the she has to reduce according to the scale reference. According to the skinfold test the body fat decreased from 27% to 25,5%, which is a good result too that can be improve next month. Her muscle mass % increased 0.3% (according to the scale references also), and indicating that Naty’s muscle mass is developed in a normal range. The waist measure went down from 80cm to 72cm; this measure was taking several times to make sure it did.

With these results we could answer affirmative to the question:

Did Naty achieve her goal this month?

(Reduce her body fat percent, without losing muscle mass weight)

Yes! She did it!

Which is going to be the goal for the next month?

Lose body fat and increase muscle mass, keeping that weight.

Now is the turn of Naty to tell her side of the story:

Waiting for results is always exciting; even more when you had put effort to achieve them, you can’t keep doing the same thing and wait for different results right? For the last month I’ve been trying very hard and doing all I can to achieve my goals in all the many aspects of my life, health, eating and in my life in general. I feel that when you do that in one specific topic f your life, you usually get excited in all the others and thing flow in an amazing way.

It’s been a month since my visit to Sofy’s clinic and I went do excited wanting to know see how I did, I had seen changes, but I wanted to confirm them there. I was very responsible with my portions, always tried to make everything in advanced, made all my eating times and I was always had with me my lunch bag, it didn’t matter where I was (or it doesn’t ‘cause I’m still doing it) and I believe that this helped a lot to the fact that my results were good. Another very important thing that you never put aside is the physical exercise, I’ve been very constant and putting all my effort on it and the combination of well eating an exercise never fails.

A lot of people have written me asking which diet is the best or which one do I recommend and now my answer won’t be other than eating well, look for the professional help of a nutritionist, enjoy life, ‘cause if you stop and think, a diet may give you fast results, but in exchange of what? Suffering for a month just to be the same in a couple of weeks? I’ve been eating everything I want in the past month, I have enjoyed delicious but balanced plates, and even though I had the results I wanted. Do I explain myself?

It’s not worth put yourself to an strict regimen, keeping your body from the nutrients it needs just to have momentary results, you just have to be patient, as everything in life, and if we concentrate on making things good, we’ll even not noticed that we’ve achieved our goal, try it, be patient and you’ll see that you can do it.

Sometimes we have to create our own methods to control what we eat and for me it’s useful to make a check on the portions I have eaten on a small notebook that I have for knowing what’s left and with what can I play, maybe it’ll be useful for you too, also, motivation is another important factor that we have work for everyday and for me works to follow instagram and tumblr accounts that give me motivation, healthy food options, etc. When it’s hard for me to waking up for exercising, I start looking the feed of my tumblr or instagram and it’s enough for going out of my bed, but obviously you have to look for thinks with healthy, real and good content, it works for me, maybe you could try itand if not, maybe you can find something that’ll help you and motivate you to keep on going.

If you started as the same time as me to change your habits and also started to see changes in our body, congratulations because you really need to be constant and committed to achieve this, if you started but not made it through all the way, I invite you to keep on going, and if you haven’t started, it’s never too late to do it and change yourself to the path of the healthy living. I hope I’ll maintain the good habits to reach my goals and that you encourage yourself to do it too.
