Gregory Brenes finished in 28th place

After 7 stages the Costa Rican Gregory Brenes (Jamis-Hagens Berman team) ended its participation in the Tour de San Luis in Argentina, being in 28th place, 16 minutes and 37 seconds of the champion Dani Diaz, Argentine who ran for FUNVIC-São Jose dos Campos.

The giro of 948.2 kilometers divided into 7 stages, which featured 162 runners, 144 of them completed , divided into 26 teams. The champion team was Colombia and Brenes team finished at position 11.

In step 6, the route number was 117.5 kilometers between Achiras and Filo Sierras Comechingones, this is known as the queen stage of the competition for their final steep path.
The stage was won by Brazilian Kleber Ramos running for FUNVIC-São José dos Campos team with a time of 3 hours, 10 minutes and 55 seconds. The tico arrived in the 54th with a delay of 9 minutes and 18 seconds.

The last step was for Sunday 25 January, leaving San Luis going to El Durazno and back to St. Louis for a total of 122.4 kilometers. Brenes arrived at position 96 to 18 seconds behind the winner Mark Cavendish, who won the final sprint.
