Keylor is now from Spain: "Today is an important day for me"
The Costa Rican has signed the Civil Registry in Llíria. The goalkeeper just needs to finish the process by applying for the National Identity in the police department.
Keylor Navas is no longer a foreigner. The Costa Rican has signed this morning at the Civil Registry in Llíria (Valencia) The minutes of allegiance to the King and obedience to the Constitution to obtain Spanish citizenship. Keylor and his agent, Ricardo Cabanas, began proceedings for the acquisition of Spanish citizenship in 2013, when he joined the Levante and lived in the town of Bétera. For this reason, the end of the administrative process, despite the 'tico' lives in Madrid, had to be in Llíria.
Keylor is happy shown in the official media of the club: "Today is an important day in my personal and professional life since I came to Spanish football I dreamed about this day and reaching this goal as a Real Madrid player fills me with pride.". The FIFA regulation supports three foreigners in the each team. Now the white club has only two: James (Colombia) and Chicharito (Mexico).
