On Monday the Spanish League presented awards to the best players from last season and the Costa Rican Keylor Navas won the award for best goalkeeper of 2013-2014 season.
Navas was nominated among Willy Caballero (Málaga) and Thibaut Courtois (Atlético).
The recognition comes after the Costa Rican keeper and his outstanding work in the Levante during the previous season, that get him to Real Madrid, where today struggle for ownership with renowned Iker Casillas.
"It is a privilege to be here and I thank my former teammates of Levante for this award. I thank you for joining me in difficult times. I also remember my family. I hope to be here next year," said goalkeeper Costa Rica.
Other achievements in the ceremony was the championship of Atletico Madrid, Sergio Ramos was awarded as the best defense, Iniesta, best offensive midfielder in the League, Fair Play Ivan Rakitic with Sevilla, Fair Play Group with the Real Sociedad among other prizes.
