Pan-American of enduro comes to Costa Rica

San José, Costa Rica. The next 14, 15 and 16 of November Costa Rica will host the biggest event of the enduro discipline in the region, the 2014 edition of the Pan American Endurance Championship.

For this test pilots from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama and of course our country in a brave, extreme and technical obstacles demonstrating their skills.

The stage for this competition, which will feature at least 150 pilots will be on the premises of the former racetrack around the Guácima. Competitions are held Saturday and Sunday and where participants will face various tests.

As provided in the supplementary regulations of the event, each day of competition has 2 laps of about 90 kilometers around the racetrack, with two time controls on each one. They must also perform four special tests per lap, where it includes a "cross test" special stage or motocross, extreme test, over obstacles like logs, tires and stones, and two "endurance test".

The organization in charge of the event is Solo Motos and the Costa Rican Motorcycle Enduro Association with the support and endorsement of the Costa Rican Motorcycling Federation and FIMLA (International Motorcycling Federation of Latin America).

The categories that will compete are E1, E2, E3, Junior (to age 23) and Masters (over 38 years).

Admission to the public will cost 2000 colones and the organization will announce more details next week.
