Paralympic table tennis promises first class show

The tournament will have 165 players from 26 countries, including Germany, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, USA, Finland, Holland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea sur, Mexico, Poland, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Russia, Sweden, Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela.

The event was announced Wednesday at a press conference by Alexander Zamora, president of Costa table Tennis Federation; Domingo Argüello, player, organizer and president of the Paralympic Federation of Costa Rica, and Brazil Edimilson Pinheiro, technical delegate of the tournament, sent by the International Federation of the sport.

The third Costa Rica Paralympic Table Tennis Cup, which takes place from Friday 19 to Sunday 21 December at the BN Arena Sports City in Hatillo 2 to enjoy a first class show, given the category its participants.

The appointment will bring true powers of the world Paralympic table tennis as delegations from China, South Korea, Sweden and Germany, and prominent figures in the sport, including the German Jochem Wollmert, Olympic champion class 7; the Spanish Jordi Morales, class world champion team 6-7 and Polish Patryk Chojnowski, world champion and Olympic class 10.
