The Costa Rican pilot of Team CMX - Suzuki Roberto Castro won this weekend a placed on the podium in the Latin American Single Valid Motocross Championship in MX1, held at the motocross circuit in Chilca Peru.
"We ended the Latin American Championship of Motocross 2014 with a second and a fifth place to be third overall. I'm happy with the result, I had to face drastic changes that I'm not used to and although I love racing in sand, and as for the bike we need other settings and physically is much more demanding, so the scenarios change much and I had little time, however I survived a tough weekend and I'm happy to go home, "said the rider from Peruvian soil.
The general table left Castro in third place on the podium with a total of 38 points. The first place went to the American Nichols and the Peruvian Salazar.
Castro returns to Costa Rica on Tuesday to resume her studies and then engage in planning 2015.
"Now go home, to continue with the second test of the semester at the University and at the middle of December, I hope to have defined my outlook in 2015, and hopefully we manage to build a better scheme I see the level in South America has been increasing and we need to focus together with the Federation to have a better motocross for the good of our drivers, " finished national.
