With the goal of winning the first Cup of Nations for the ISA China Cup of the International Surfing Association to be attended by the Major National Surf Team of Costa Rica, now the tricolor team goes on a journey that will take about 40 hours, with stops in the US and hence the longest straight destination to which some tico team has attended after the representation in Japan in 1990.
This is the fourth edition run since 2011 for this prestigious event which combines both the WQS Stars Wanning in Hainan, China, an opportunity open to Costa Ricans to compete for ranking points of the ASP and money cash in a tournament that will award $ 95,000.
The ISA China Cup that will be held on 23 and 24 November and the Hainan Classic (WQS 4 Star) from 25 to 28 November, will run on the incredible wave Wanning on Hainan Island.
"Super happy to be able to represent the country again in an exotic place that I give the best of me and my team. The group that we are quite strong in a left wave that we expect to make perfect reading soon. We are a big family that we will, at our union group will add value to the commitment to make things right, " said Jair Pérez, who returns to the team selected from 2013.
The group leaves at 12:00 noon in a direct flight to El Salvador where they will make the first stop. They will receive the press between 11:00 and 11:30 am.
