Two Costa Ricans to the finals of swimming in the Central American and Caribbean Games, Mariangel Hidalgo in the 400 combo and Marie Laura Meza in the 100m butterfly.
The nationals finished their tests with discrete records in order to improve their personal bests tonight when they are giving the final test.
Mariangel Hidalgo who in 400 combined record 5:38:87 said that this time is not good but it was important to be in the final.
"The time is not good but enough to get to the end and to go and swim harder at night. The weather froze me when I enter the water, despite the cold breeze was hovering around 18 degrees out of the pool" the tica said.
Meanwhile Marie Laura Meza, who reached her second final in these JCC-VERACRUZ 2014, states that she keep a low bit to get to the final.
"I'm happy with that classification, is the best for the night I honestly didn't put all the effort because it was all part of the plan to save some energy for tonight" Meza said.
The final of swimming combined both 400 and 100 butterfly starts from 7pm.
